BLAST OFF! Y6 Space logs
This term we have been learning all about Tim Peake, the first British ESA astronaut to to go on-board the International Space Station.
In honor of British Science Week 2016, we asked 'What would it be like to be an astronaut?'. The Y6's got to taste astronaut ice-cream, take part in an astronaut fitness training program, wrote space logs, built their own space station model and even looked into the 1969 moon landing conspiracy!
Take a look at the fantastic Titanic models made by Y6 for their home learning challenge!
A big thank you to all parents who may have helped with this task. The year 6 team were amazed by them!

Welcome to Year 6
This year is an important year for the children. Although we will be working hard, we will also have fun, exciting things to take part in as well. Not only do we have SATs, we also have: Danelaw Visit, Crucial Crew visit and the residential to Kingswood, the end of year performance, the leavers ball and transition into Secondary school to look forward to.
So although we will be working hard we will be playing hard too!
