Remembrance Day
During Remembrance Day we looked at the effect war had on the wellbeing of all who was involved: Women, communities, families and soldiers. We then portrayed the effect through art using both colour and shapes.

Folklore Writing
In English we have learnt the "Mayan Creation Story". We have learnt the story in different ways: deconstructing the original text; sorting, reordering and sequencing the images and text into the correct order to re-tell the story and through drama. We then wrote our own versions of the story using and including different descriptive techniques.

Typing test in ICT
One skill we have been working on in ICT is our typing skills. We started our topic by taking a typing test and getting a baseline time for our typing; we then worked on improving our typing skills before testing ourselves again to see if we could beat our original times.
