We have finished our DT topic 'Can we make a window?' We have thought carefully about the materials we use, as well as their properties. We have used our cutting and sticking skills to assemble our windows. Look how we did!
Today we have tasted melted chocolate! We have thought of some fantastic adjectives to describe it....gooey, thick, gloopy and smooth were just a few! We are now going to write our own story based on The Magic Porridge Pot, but our story will be about a magic chocolate pot...yum!
We couldn't read The Magic Porridge Pot without tasting some yummy porridge ourselves! Luckily we knew the words to make the pot stop cooking!
The first book of the year that we are studying, the fantastic Dogger, written by Shirley Hughes. We are really enjoying the story!

We have started our art topic about fireworks! We have used the doodle buddy app to create thin and thick lines for our fireworks!
We are raising money for Sheffield Children's Hospital by wearing our PJ's for school! Very cosy!
Can we stomp?
In our music topic this term we have been asking the question 'can we stomp?' We have been using our bodies to perform percussion with call and response tasks as well as finding the rhythm in a song and 'stomping' rhythmically along with it!
